In my time at University, I have found that I have a passion for work that resides in experimental territory – be that putting a picture of my own face in a frying pan or burying 35mm film in the ground for 2 weeks. I endeavour to remove my images from the digital screen and physically manipulate them. My current work follows this trend; appropriating old family photos to create collage-style pieces that act as portraits for relationships – not just discussing my own family but the dynamics of all families.
